Hi, I'm Curtis Burris-White, founder of JAB Motion Design & Digital Cinema. My journey to helping amazing brands drive growth through storytelling might be different from what you’d expect.

I started out in the automotive industry, but after being laid off, I saw it as an opportunity to pursue my true passion: storytelling. As a kid, my world was shaped by imagination, books, and movies. I was always captivated by how stories transported me to new places and perspectives. That fascination stayed with me, and it became the driving force behind my career shift.

I began my new journey working in local news and commercial production. While I honed my skills in design and film, I knew something was missing. Then, I discovered the Muse storytelling process, which helped me put story at the heart of everything I create.

This unique approach caught the attention of larger organizations, leading to JAB winning two local Emmy awards. But here’s the thing: I’m not just about creating beautiful visuals or using cutting-edge gear.

I’m deeply passionate about understanding why stories work, how they influence our brains, and how we can harness them to drive real, lasting change. That’s why I’ve spent years refining my process, blending the art of filmmaking with the psychology of human connection.
